Gifts
Memorial Gifts can be given
to the Humane Society, A.L.L., honoring the memory of a
loved individual or a beloved pet. We realize that
the loss of a loved one is very significant and a donation
in this form helps say "I Understand Your
Loss". This thoughtful and meaningful gift will
forever keep the spirit of a lost loved one alive, while
giving greatly needed help to the animals of your
community at the same time.
If the Memorial Gift is
given in remembrance of a friend's loss, the Humane
Society will send a personal card of sympathy to the
person or family you designate, acknowledging your
thoughtful donation to the Humane Society.
Tribute Gifts
You may wish to honor an
individual on a special occasion, such as Mother's Day, an
anniversary, birthday or other special day. The
Humane Society will send an appropriate letter or card to
the specified person or family acknowledging your donation
in their honor.
Donations can be in any
amount you choose and the amount can be disclosed, or non
disclosed, depending on your request. They can
be given anonymously if you choose.
Bequest a Gift through a
Will
A bequest is simply a gift
made through a Will. Your last Will and Testament is
a legal document that expresses your will or intent for
the distribution of your estate, property and assets,
after your death. Your Will is truly one of the most
important documents you will ever sign and it benefits
those you believe important and memorializes your own
existence. A bequest to the Humane Society, A.L.L,
of Madison County is considered extremely valuable, regardless
of the amount. If you are considering a bequest to
the Humane Society, please consult legal counsel to assure
that your wishes are carried out as intended.
